ESCAPE GAME: HOW DIFFICULT IS IT? AND THE SUCCESS RATE?
The aim of an escape game is to solve puzzles and escape from a room. You have a maximum of 60 minutes in which to play. Of course, this period cannot be extended. If you don’t manage to collect all the clues and unravel the plot before the 60 minutes are up, you lose. But don’t worry, we’ll let you out just the same! This means that by searching and thinking carefully, by communicating with your team members, you can escape from the room before the end of the game hour! From one scenario to another, the difficulty and success rate vary. In the end, there’s really no magic bullet to get you through. Sometimes, even if you’re logical, thoughtful and a team player, there’s just not enough time. However, it’s still very stimulating to know that you have 1 hour, not a minute more, to unravel a puzzle and escape.
If you’ve never played an escape game before, it’s best to start with an easy level. On the other hand, if you’re used to playing it, you can opt for a more challenging scenario. In any case, nothing is simple, and you’ll be confronted with difficulties… but they’re not insurmountable, on the contrary! That’s the charm of this activity!
SCENARIOS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL, WITH VARYING DEGREES OF DIFFICULTY
Before or when you start playing, we don’t recommend focusing on the success rate or the best time. This could break your concentration. Besides, it would detract from the fun of participating in an escape game. At HintHunt Paris, all our puzzles are accessible to children aged 9 and over, provided they are accompanied by an adult. So they’re not impossible to solve. But depending on the level of difficulty, the success rate can be higher or lower. The latter also depends on the players.
During the session, therefore, we advise you to pay close attention to every object, every detail. Remember, nothing has been left to chance. So don’t be afraid to dig, to experiment, to think with your team, to communicate and share your findings. It’ll help you move forward and, who knows, get to the bottom of the story?
