Age Escape Game

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR PARTICIPATION IN AN ESCAPE GAME?

At HintHunt Paris, all our puzzles were originally designed for adults. However, our themes can also appeal to children because they are universal. However, to take part in one of our life-size escape games, children must be at least 9 years old and, above all, accompanied by an adult. If these two criteria aren’t met, they can’t play – it’s part of our safety rules. So, if you want to offer an escape game in Paris to your child, for their birthday for example, if they’re not a teenager, an adult must be present. In fact, we believe that under the age of 9, a child is not in a position to fully enjoy the game. For example, because of its size, it cannot access certain objects or perform certain manipulations.

9 YEARS, THE MINIMUM AGE SET BY HINTHUNT PARIS

As you can see, we haven’t set this age limit to prevent a child from playing an escape game. We do it because we know our games, our rooms, and we know that at 5 or 7 years old, they won’t be able to participate. For children aged 9 and over, however, an adult must be present. From 9 to 15 years of age, at least one adult is required. Teens over 15 can play on their own.

And when you book a game at our Paris premises, don’t forget to ask about our storylines. They each have their own theme and universe, and not all of them necessarily appeal to young players. We therefore advise you to take their tastes into account when selecting the right riddle. As a reminder, there are four of them: James Murdock’s Office, The Pirate’s Secret, Dracula, and Stranger Signs. Pay attention to the level of difficulty. And if you’re not sure which game to choose, contact us to find out more. Our team is here to help you make your choice.

AN ACTIVITY SUITED TO A WIDE AUDIENCE

To satisfy all our players – young, old and teenagers alike – we’ve developed several puzzles with very different themes. There is something for every taste and preference. You can step into the shoes of a detective, travel back in time aboard a pirate ship, go on a vampire hunt, or take part in a scientific experiment. Involving logic, reflection, digging, manipulation and team spirit, escape games are an activity suitable for everyone. It’s perfect for adults and teenagers alike, and also appeals to the younger set, who want to enjoy it too. So you can book a session for the whole family, or for your children (accompanied by an adult if they’re aged between 9 and 15). Our rooms in Paris are open every day, from 9 AM to 11 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM to midnight on weekends. That leaves you with plenty of options!
